AusVendGroup Visits Las Vegas for the National Automatic Merchandising Show
Early April saw AusVendGroup travel to Las Vegas to attend the 2019 National Automatic Merchandising Association show, which offers the opportunity for vending operators and suppliers to meet and discuss coffee services, vending, food services and micro markets.
What an Opportunity! Networking & New Products…
We were part of a networking opportunity with 4,500 other convenience services individuals, which provided us with access to movers and shakers in the industry. Many technological innovations were on display and there was plenty to learn. We talked shop with people from all over the globe who have particular expertise in convenience services products.
The NAMA show also had an abundance of new products and services from massively successful household names like Hershey, Pepsico Foodservice, Kellogg’s, Smuckers Foodservice, Crane, Cantaloupe Systems, 365 Retail Markets and Vistar.
We can learn a lot from the international market, and travelling to Las Vegas for the NAMA show was definitely a game changer for us! Just to be around international forward thinkers and industry innovators is very inspiring. We came back renewed and reinvigorated in our desire to bring outstanding food service products to our clients here in Australia.
New Product Discoveries
One of the many highlights from our visit to Las Vegas was meeting one of our major suppliers and discovering newly emerging machines. For example, the CRANE Coti, which is a revolutionary coffee experience that gives you barista quality coffee right in your workplace. A coffee shop style menu is able to be accessed through an intuitive HD screen.
But that’s not the best part. This machine actually allows you to preset your favorite coffee combination. You’ll get a special code that you can input each time you want a coffee. Pretty cool, right? The CRANE Coti also allows full customisation of your coffee. So, if you’re feeling sweet, you can add more than one sugar, as well as increase milk and coffee quantity.
So Much More to Come…
Another innovation which we’re implementing in our snack, drink and combi machines is a touch screen payment and selection screen. It’s a useful and convenient addition to all our machines that will make the whole process of buying snacks and drinks easier.
While we were at the NAMA conference, we were also introduced to some new formats for the micro markets as well as some new products we hope to be putting on shelves in the future. Keep your eyes peeled for these beneficial and user-friendly new products in our vending lines soon!
